Annual Community Yard Sale
The annual community yard sale was held on Saturday, October 10, 2026. It looks like we had a lot of traffic coming through the subdivision, and all the participants I spoke with told me that they were very happy with the way the yard sale went. Even the weather cooperated. Well, at least for the most part. The date of the next yard sale will be decided at the Annual Meeting on November 14, 2026. Next Annual Meeting
Please mark your calendar now. The next Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Northside Baptist Church, 3131 Duff Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810. Please note that meeting locations are subject to change, so please check back before the meeting to confirm the location. We would love to see you there. The agenda has been mailed to all members, and a copy can be located by clicking on the CALENDAR link. Deed Restriction Changes
The Board sent out requests earlier in the year to all members asking them which deed restrictions they still wanted to see enforced and if there were new restrictions that they wanted to be added. The Board is now in possession of that information, and we are currently in the process of preparing recommendations for all homeowners to review. This is a monumental undertaking because we must have an editable Word copy of all governing documents before we can proceed further. We were unsuccessful in obtaining Word copies, so all of these documents must now be retyped to create a Word copy. This process is slow, but steady. It is unlikely that we will have a working copy of the proposed deed restrictions ready this year, but we should have everything ready sometime in 2027. All homeowners will be provided a copy of the proposed deed restrictions so that they can vote for each restriction individually. Only restrictions that garner a reasonable level of support will be included in the final deed restrictions. The final draft will be sent to all homeowners for a vote prior to implementation.
